Analysis of Tourism in Eastern Bohemia

Abstract:

The topic of this thesis "The analysis of Tourism in Eastern Bohemia" examines the current state of tourism in this region, presents individual tourist destinations and current offer of various attractions. In the first part the thesis is designed to proceed from the general caracteristics of tourism and the definition of tourism in the Czech Republic and Eastern Bohemia, through various tourist attractions and monuments of both provinces, their districts and municipalities. The second part of the work is devoted to the practical part, which examines the analysis of the current state of development of tourism in the given area. A significant part of the thesis is a graphic map, which draws the ratio of tourist attractions and monuments in the whole region. The monuments on which the final statistics are covered by the author are divided into three categories: natural, cultural-historical and technical. In addition to this graphic part, the author made a short questionnaire, a simple and clear SWOT analysis, and summed up at the end of this thesis all her knowledge about the use of tourism in the region. The analysis describes the strengths and weaknesses as well as the potential for threats and losses. Used informations are processed by individual components, which the author mentions as important and interesting at her discretion.

Abstract:

Diplomová práce na téma "Analýza cestovního ruchu ve východních Čechách" zkoumá současný stav cestovního ruchu v tomto regionu, představuje jednotlivé turistické destinace a aktuální nabídku různých atraktivit. V první části je práce koncipována tak, aby postupovala od obecné charakteristiky cestovního ruchu a definici turismu na území ČR a východních Čech, přes různé turistické zajímavosti a památky obou zkoumaných krajů, jejich okresů a obcí. Druhá část práce je zaměřena prakticky a analyzuje současný stav rozvoje cestovního ruchu v dané oblasti. Významnou část práce tvoří grafická mapa, která zakresluje poměr turistických atraktivit a monumentů v celém regionu. Památky, na které se závěrečná statistika vztahuje autorka rozdělila do třech kategorií: přírodní, kulturně-historické a technické. Kromě této grafické části vypracovala autorka krátký dotazník, jednoduchou a přehlednou SWOT analýzu a dále jsou v závěru práce shrnuty i veškeré poznatky k využití cestovního ruchu v regionu. Rozbor charakterizuje přednosti a slabiny, jakož i možnosti ohrožení a ztrát. Použité informace jsou zpracovány po jednotlivých složkách, které autorka zmiňuje dle svého uvážení jako důležité a zajímavé.
