Tato bakalářská práce si klade za cíl porovnat dva existující české překlady idiomů z povídkové knihy His Last Bow od Arthura Conana Doyla na základě strategií, které překladatelé k jejich překladu využili. This bachelor's thesis aims to compare two existing Czech translations of idioms from the short story book His Last Bow by Arthur Conan Doyle based on the strategies used by the translators to translate them. The thesis explains the concept of idiom, as well as several ways of dividing it and the basic features that most idioms share.
