Mezikulturní kompetence pro různorodé týmy

Abstract:

Mezikulturní kompetence je popisována jako schopnost dobře fungovat napříč kulturami a je v dnešní době cenným, ne-li dokonce nejdůležitějším přínosem. Tato diplomová práce zkoumá význam budování mezikulturní kompetence v různorodých týmech. Studie kombinuje důkladnou analýzu literatury s kvalitativním a kvantitativním výzkumem v několika nadnárodních korporacích, aby zjistila, jak mohou být mezikulturní dovednosti úspěšně rozvíjeny a využívány. Praktická řešení zahrnují rozvoj mezikulturní kompetence jako manažerské dovednosti a realizaci mezikulturních vzdělávacích kurzů. Diplomová práce naznačuje, že kulturní rozmanitost by měla být považována za strategický přínos, podporující inkluzivní a prosperující týmy v globálním obchodním kontextu.

Abstract:

Intercultural competence is described as the capacity to operate well across cultures, and it is a valuable asset, if not the leading one, nowadays. This thesis investigates the significance of building intercultural competency in diverse teams. The study combines a thorough literature analysis with qualitative and quantitative research from several multinational corporations to determine how intercultural skills may be successfully developed and utilised. Practical solutions include developing cross-cultural competence as a managerial skill and conducting intercultural training courses. The thesis suggests that cultural diversity should be seen as a strategic asset, promoting inclusive and thriving teams in the global business context.
