Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce je zpracována na téma "Lidé bez domova specifika bezdomovectví mužů a žen". Cílem teoretické části je objasnit pojmy bezdomovec a bezdomovectví, popsat historii a typy bezdomovectví a rozebrat jednotlivé příčiny tohoto fenoménu. Dále specifikovat sociálně patologické jevy vázané na bezdomovectví a popsat aspekty bezdomovectví z pohledu gender. V neposlední řadě formulovat zásady prevence bezdomovectví a stručně charakterizovat sociální služby pro bezdomovce v regionu Blansko. Hlavním cílem praktické části je zjistit, jaké jsou rozdíly mezi ženami a muži bez domova a specifika bezdomovectví podle pohlaví, jak tito lidé využívají sociálních služeb a zda je nabídka těchto služeb pro lidi v regionu Blansko dostatečná. Výzkum byl proveden formou rozhovorů s muži i ženami bez domova klienty Nízkoprahového centra Stará fabrika Blansko.

Abstract:

The subject of the Diploma Thesis is 'Homeless people specific features of man and woman homelessness'. In the theoretical part of the present work the terms 'homeless person' and 'homelessness' are specified, and history and forms of homelessness are described with the aim to analyze particular causes of this phenomenon. Socio-pathological features linked to homelessness are specified with the emphasis to gender. The principles of prevention policy are formulated and the level of social services for homeless persons in district Blansko is briefly characterized. The main objective of the practical part of the Diploma Thesis was to reveal differences between homeless men and women, to find out the extent of utilization of social services by homeless persons with emphasis to gender and to evaluate the level of social services in district Blansko. The exploration has been performed in the form of talks with men and women without home who are the clients of the Centre of low-threshold treatment program 'Stará fabrika' ('Old Factory') in Blansko.
