Economic consequences of tax havens

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of tax havens and the motivation of entities to operate in these tax havens. The first part of the bachelor thesis focuses on the definition of tax havens, introducing the main important tax havens and their division. It then discusses the different motivations to operate in these jurisdictions, but also the impact on the economics of tax havens and other economies and tools to prevent tax evasion. The second part of the thesis deals with the analysis of changes in tax rates in tax havens on the tax revenues of Slovakia.

Abstract:

Bakalárska práca sa zaoberá problematikou daňových rajov a motiváciou subjektov pôsobiť v týchto daňových rajoch. Prvá časť bakalárskej práce sa zameriava na definíciu daňových rajov, predstavením hlavných významných daňových rajov a ich delením. Ďalej sa zaoberá rôznymi motiváciami pôsobiť v týchto jurisdikciách ale aj dopadmi na ekonomiku daňových rajov a ostatných ekonomík a nástrojmi pre zamedzenie daňových únikov. Druhá časť práce sa zaoberá analýzou zmien daňových sadieb v daňových rajoch na daňové príjmy Slovenska.
