The evaluation of the effectiveness of the investment projects

Abstract:

The goal of this thesis is the evaluation of the effectiveness of investments projects in the chosen manufacturing corporation. The first part is aimed at the summary of knowledge about the investments, the forms of their funding, long-term planning and methods of evaluation of investment projects. The methods are divided into static and dynamic. In the practical part are three projects described. All of them are evaluated with a simple pay-back period, the net present value and the internal rate of return. In the conclusion of the thesis there is a summary of the results and recommendations.

Abstract:

Cieľom práce je zhodnotenie efektivity vybraných investičných projektov vo výrobnom podniku. Prvá časť sa venuje zhrnutiu teoretických poznatkov o investíciách, investičnom plánovaní, formách financovania investícií a metódach hodnotenia investičných projektov. Metódy boli rozdelené na statické a dynamické. V praktickej časti sú predstavené tri projekty. Každý z nich je vyhodnotený pomocou jednoduchej doby návratnosti, čistej súčasnej hodnoty a vnútorného výnosového percenta. V závere práce sú zhrnuté výsledky a odporúčania k jednotlivým projektom.
