Work-life balance when working from home

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce pojednává o problematice work-life balance při práci z domova jakožto jedné z flexibilních forem práce. Hlavním cílem této práce je zjistit, jak zaměstnanci vybrané společnosti přistupují k práci z domova v kontextu work-life balance, a následně pojmenovat klíčová témata z pohledu zaměstnanců pro tvorbu konceptu práce z domova. Teoretická část obsahuje úvod do problematiky práce z domova a její výhody a nevýhody, a dále se zaměřuje podrobněji na fenomén work-life balance při výkonu práce z domova. Praktická část práce poté analyzuje work-life balance zaměstnanců vybrané společnosti v souvislosti s prací z domova za použití metody hloubkových rozhovorů se zaměstnanci společnosti. Na základě výsledků výzkumného šetření jsou následně pojmenovány nejdůležitější aspekty z pohledu zaměstnanců pro vytvoření konceptu práce z domova, které dané společnosti slouží jako jeden z podkladů pro tvorbu tohoto konceptu.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of work-life balance when working from home as one of the flexible forms of work. The main aim of this thesis is to find out how employees of the selected company approach working from home in the context of work-life balance and then to name the key issues from the employees' perspective for the development of the concept of working from home. The theoretical part includes an introduction to the issue of working from home and its advantages and disadvantages, and then focuses in more detail on the phenomenon of work-life balance when working from home. The practical part of the thesis then analyses the work-life balance of employees of the selected company in relation to working from home using the method of in-depth interviews with employees of the company. Based on the results of the research investigation, the most important aspects from the employees' perspective are then named as one of the basis for the creation of the concept of working from home for the company in question.
