Comparison of Stylistic Means in the Poetry since Gryphius until Brecht

Abstract:

The thesis is from the area of literature science and stylistics. It deals with the study of poetic texts in terms of stylistics. The aim of the thesis is to compare the stylistic devices used in poems of selected German poets in the time span from baroque to modern times. The objects of the research are the works of Andreas Gryphius: Tränen des Vaterlandes Anno 1636, Friedrich Schiller: Der Pilgrim, Annette von Droste-Hülshoff: Der Knabe im Moor, Heinrich Heine: Die schlesischen Weber, Bertold Brecht: Die Lösung. The first part of the thesis includes setting goals and theoretical principles with references to literature that relates to the topic. In the second part is made practical application of the theory. Particular poems are stylistically researched by using a common methodology. Finally, stylistic devices in the particular works are compared.

Abstract:

Práce je z oblasti literární vědy a stylistiky. Zabývá se zkoumáním poetických textů z hlediska stylistiky. Cílem práce je porovnání stylistických prostředků použitých v básních vybraných německých básníků v časovém rozpětí od baroka až do moderní doby. Předmětem zkoumání jsou díla: Andreas Gryphius: Tränen des Vaterlandes Anno 1636; Friedrich Schiller: Der Pilgrim; Anette von Droste-Hülshoff: Der Knabe im Moor; Heinrich Heine: Die schlesischen Weber; Bertold Brecht: Die Lösung. První část práce obsahuje stanovení cíle a teoretické podklady s odkazy na literaturu, která se vztahuje k danému tématu. Ve druhé části práce je provedeno praktické použití teorie. Jednotlivé básně jsou podle jednotné metodiky stylisticky zkoumány. Nakonec je provedeno porovnání stylistických prostředků ve zkoumaných dílech.
