The American Mortgage Crisis

Abstract:

Diplomová práce na téma Americká hypoteční krize má své teoretické východisko v Teorii finančních krizí, která vznikla v důsledku četnosti a rozsahu krizí v několika posledních desítkách let jako samostatná disciplína. První kapitola je věnována významnému názorovému proudu na vývoj krizí – generační logice. Druhá kapitola analyzuje historické události a změny, jež přispěly k bezmála systémovému kolapsu finanční sféry, a diskutuje o jejich aplikaci. Následně jsou vymezeny příčiny vzniku krize a popsán její průběh. Ten je koncipován v širších relacích tak, jak se krize postupně šířila nejen americkou ekonomikou. Třetí kapitola obsahuje informace o dopadech na klíčové sektory – trh s bydlením a americké domácnosti, bankovní a finanční sféru, americké hospodářství, potažmo měnu, Evropu a Českou republiku. Závěr bilancuje aktuální stav americké ekonomiky v době napsání této práce. Zde uvádím své vlastní i odborné názory na budoucí vývoj.

Abstract:

Diploma thesis American Mortgage Crisis has its theoretical base in the Theory of Financial Crisis which came into existence as a consequence of many different crisis in past years. The frequency and large number of them established a separate discipline. In the first part there is mentioned one of the main streams: Generational Logic. Second chapter analyses historical events and turning points of changes that in the end conduced to nearly systemic collapse in finance sphere and further discuss necessity of their existence, implementation. Afterwards the thesis follows up causes of the origin of the crisis and its development. The third part contains information about impact on key sectors: American housing market and households, banking and financial sphere, American economy, currency included Europe and Czech Republic. In the conclusion I consider current condition of American economy in the period of finishing the thesis and adduce my own and specialists' opinions on subsequent progress.
