New internal communication tools

Abstract:

Interní komunikace ve firmách se v současné době stává jejich nedílnou součástí a je na ní kladen velký důraz. Cílem této bakalářské práce je zjistit, zda může implementace webových a mobilních aplikací zefektivnit interní komunikaci ve firmách a doporučení vhodné aplikace, která pomůže lépe komunikovat se zaměstnanci. První část práce se věnuje teorii komunikace jako obecnému pojmu a dále interní komunikaci ve firmách. Druhá část se zabývá praktickým testováním vybraných webových a mobilních aplikací, které jsou v současné době dostupné na trhu. Kvalitativní strukturované rozhovory s příjemci komunikace potvrzují jejich potenciál a efektivnost a také způsob jakým jsou vnímány za strany uživatelů. Vlastní porovnání aplikací může firmám pomoci při výběru vhodné aplikace, která přispěje ke zlepšení komunikace ve firmách.

Abstract:

Internal company communication has lately become an integral part of doing business. Companies concentrate a lot of resources on the development of better communication solutions within the company. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to determine whether the implementation of web and mobile applications can streamline internal communication, and to recommend suitable applications that can improve internal employee communication. The first part of the thesis deals with the theory of communication as well as the general concept of internal communication in companies. The second part of the thesis concentrates on practical tests of selected web and mobile applications that are currently available on the market. Qualitative structured interviews with users of each tool confirm their potential and effectiveness as well as the ways that users perceive them. A comparison of these applications can help companies to find the right applications that could improve their business' internal communications.
