Anotácia:

Tato práce se zabývá kulturní substitucí v seriálu Simpsonovi. Její stěžejní částí je analytická část, která se týká překladu amerických názvů jídel a překladu názvů epizod. Originál je vždy porovnáván s českým překladem. Následuje diskuze rozdílů.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the cultural substitution in the show The Simpsons. The most important part is the analytical one which concerns translation of the names of American foods and the translation of the episode titles. The originals are always compared with the Czech translations and the differences are discussed.
