Abstract:

Tato práce se zaměřuje na různé souvislosti spjaté s pojmem náhoda. Nejprve je pozornost věnována počátkům teorie pravděpodobnosti včetně zachycení jejího vývoje, kdy se matematický popis rozšířil v ucelenou vědeckou disciplínu. Rovněž je nastíněn zrod statistiky a její propojení s teorií pravděpodobnosti. Různé definice, tak jak je poznávají žáci během svých studií na střední škole, jsou ilustrovány příklady. V navazující části je téma doplněno možnými způsoby interpretace pravděpodobnosti. Zajímavé úlohy jsou zaměřeny na problémové oblasti, v nichž dochází při interpretaci pravděpodobnosti k omylům. Závěrem je načrtnuta teorie chaosu. Cílem práce je zainteresovat a motivovat k hlubšímu studiu studenty SŠ, které daná problematika zajímá.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis focuses on various contexts related to the concept of chance. Firstly, attention is paid to the origins of the probability theory. Also, the develop-ment of this theory is captured – the mathematical description has expanded into a comprehensive scientific discipline. The beginnings of statistics and its connection to the probability theory are outlined. Various definitions, as students are tought at schools, are illustrated with examples. Moreover, possible methods of interpreting probability are added within the frame of this topic. Interesting tasks are aimed at problematical areas where errors occur when interpreting probability. Lastly, chaos theory is presented. The aim of this thesis is to engage interested students with this topic and motivate them to learn deeper.
