Creation of Modelling Analytical Tools in the Field of Electric Power Engineering with an Emphasis on the Reliability and Operation of Overhead Power Lines

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá modelováním vybraných částí a prvků elektrizačních soustav a jejich aplikací v rámci reálných výzkumných činností. Jsou zde popsány základní úvahy pro způsoby modelování jednotlivých vybraných elementů elektrizační soustavy. Pro ně jsou v simulačním softwaru DYNAST vytvořeny jejich modely, jejichž chování je ověřeno matematickými metodami, porovnáním výstupů s obdobně definovanými modely, které jsou implementovány do jiných softwarů využívaných v elektroenergetice, popřípadě zhodnocením s výstupy reálných měření či ilustrativních příkladů. Toto ověření je ve většině případů založeno na porovnání grafických výstupů získaných ze simulací. U všech modelů jsou detailně definovány jejich vnitřní struktury, implementace vstupních parametrů a jejich výpočet. Pro vybrané modely, do kterých nelze implementovat ani standardní ani alternativní výpočetní algoritmy, je navržena originální metodika řešení. Tato navržená metodika je ověřena jejím použitím v konkrétních modelech.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the modelling of selected parts and elements of electric power systems and their application in the context of real research activities. Elementary arguments regarding the modelling of particular elements of electric power systems are described. For them, respective models are developed in simulation software DYNAST. Their behaviour is verified by mathematical methods, by the comparison of outputs with similarly defined models, which are implemented in other power engineering softwares, and/or by the evaluation with the results of real measurements or with illustrative examples. This verification is in the majority of cases based on the comparison of graphical outputs, which are obtained from the simulations. Internal structure, implementation of input parameters and their calculation are defined for all models in detail. For selected models, where it is impossible to implement neither standard nor alternative computational algorithms, original theoretical background and procedures are proposed. This proposed methodology is verified by its use in specific models.
