Creative tourism in selected European metropolitan areas

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem kreativního cestovního ruchu ve vybraných evropských metropolích. Hlavním cílem práce je prozkoumat, jakým způsobem dané metropole využívají kreativní přístupy a strategie k rozvoji cestovního ruchu. První část práce se zaměřuje na teoretické ukotvení kreativního cestovního ruchu. Praktická část práce je založena na srovnání kreativních nástrojů a přístupů využívaných ve vybraných metropolích. Důraz je kladen na identifikaci aktuálních strategií a trendů uplatňovaných v metropolitních oblastech za účelem dalšího rozvoje kreativního cestovního ruchu a oslovení návštěvníků. Výstupem práce je identifikace využívaných kreativních přístupů a strategií a jejich úspěšnosti, která je následně doplněna o vlastní doporučení na základě srovnávacích analýz.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of creative tourism in selected European cities. The main aim of the thesis is to explore how these metropolises use creative approaches and strategies to develop tourism. The first part of the thesis focuses on the theoretical anchoring of creative tourism. The practical part of the thesis is based on a comparison of creative tools and approaches used in the selected metropolises. The emphasis is on identifying current strategies and trends applied in metropolitan areas in order to further develop creative tourism and reach out to visitors. The output of the thesis is the identification of the creative approaches and strategies used and their success rate, which is then complemented by its own recommendations based on comparative analyses.
