Naming animal kinds and their representatives: patterns and their relationship to frequency
Abstract:
Cílem bylo posbírat názvy zvířecích druhů a jejich zástupců (samec, samice) a zjistit, jaké morfologické vztahy mezi těmito třemi kategoriemi existují. K sestavení tabulky druhu byl využit Slovník spisovné češtiny pro školu a veřejnost (2003) a korpus SYN v4. Následně byly názvy druhů a jejich zástupců seřazeny a roztříděny podle toho, zda název druhu je maskulinum, femininum či neutrum. Dále bylo …more

The goal of this thesis was to collect names of animal species and their representatives (male, female) and research which morphological relationships applies to these categories. For the composition of table of animal species the Slovník spisovné češtiny pro školu a veřejnost (2003) and corpus SYN v4 were used.
