Európska únia predstavuje hospodársky a tiež politický systém tvorený z 28 európskych krajín. Bola vytvorená krátke obdobie po ukončení druhej svetovej vojny a jej prvotným cieľom sa stalo dosiahnutie hospodárskej spolupráce medzi krajinami.
