The face of tap dance in the Czech Republic
Abstract:
Práce pojednává o aktuální podobě stepu v České republice. Zkoumá step z více úhlů pohledu, ne jen z pohledu tanečního. Mapuje aktuální českou stepařskou scénu a pomocí dotazníkového šetření pak zjišťuje povědomí občanů České republiky o tomto tanečním stylu, čímž sleduje také současnou popularitu stepu v Čechách.
Abstract:
The work deals with the actual form of tap dance in the Czech Republic. It examines the tap from multiple angles, not just from the perspective of dance. It maps the current tap dance scene in the Czech Republic. Using a questionnaire survey it explores awareness of Czechs about this dance style, which also monitors the current popularity of tap dance in the country.
