Behaviour changes of Czech residents due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the way of arranging and spending holiday at home and abroad

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce je analyzovat pomocí primárních a sekundárních dat změny chování českých rezidentů v zajišťování dovolené doma i v zahraničí vlivem pandemie COVID-19. Práce se dělí na dvě části – teoretickou a praktickou. V teoretická části se budeme zabývat problematikou cestovního ruchu, která nám poslouží k seznámení se s pojmy používanými v celé práci. Dále je provedena analýza sekundárních dat, která vychází z dat Českého statistického úřadu a na základě nich je pak v praktické části proveden primární výzkum formou dotazníkového šetření.

Abstract:

The main aim of the diploma thesis is to analyse the changes of behaviour of Czech residents in arranging holiday at home and abroad due to the COVID-19 pandemic using primary and secondary data. The thesis is divided into two parts – theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part we deal with the issue of tourism which will serve to get acquainted with the terms used throughout the thesis. Furthermore, the analysis of secondary data based on the data from the Czech Statistical Office is carried out and primary research is performed in the form of a questionnaire survey in the practical part based on the analysed data.
