Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá řízením platební schopnosti podniku jakožto dílčí oblastí treasury managementu. Práce nejprve přibližuje hlavní disciplíny podnikového řízení, jež se svým fungováním významnou měrou podílejí na solventnosti podniku. Výklad je doplněn zjednodušeným schématem. Dále jsou uvedeny nástroje a způsoby řízení platební schopnosti.Významná část práce zaměřuje svoji pozornost na pohledávky z obchodního styku. V této souvislosti jsou identifikovány podstatné účetní, daňové i právní aspekty. V rámci úvěrového managementu jsou představeny běžně užívané indikátory pro zjišťování bonity protistrany. Dále jsou blíže charakterizovány vybrané zajišťovací instrumenty sloužící k posílení právního postavení věřitele. Práce se věnuje rovněž možnostem urychlení inkasa pohledávek a postupu jejich vymáhání. V neposlední řadě jsou uvedeny možnosti řešení platební neschopnosti a stručné pojednání o platební morálce. Autor přistupuje k řešení problematiky prismatem krátkého období. Krátké období zde representuje horizont 12 kalendářních měsíců.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with Treasury management, or, more precisely, with its part - solvency management. First of all, the thesis introduces main areas of financial management which are potentially crucial for keeping the firm solvent. To make it more illustrative there is a diagram attached. Furthermore, there are presented some managerial tools and methods that can be used for solvency management.The bulk of this thesis focuses on accounts receivables. There are mentioned significant accounting and tax such as legal aspects related to that. Moreover, in this chapter the paper presents indicators that are commonly used for evaluating customer´s creditworthiness. There are covered several ways to secure company´s receivables. This paper also attends to receivable collection and how to get paid faster as well as how to collect bad debts. Last, but not least it outlines a problem of insolvency and includes a brief discourse of payment morale.If not otherwise states, a short-term approach is taken. This means, here, that up to a one-year horizon is considered.
