Abstract:
V současné době v České republice ročně umírá 70 000 obyvatel. Asi 80% těchto lidí chce zemřít doma, ale 79% z nich stále umírá v nemocnicích. Z tohoto důvodu by měly sestry v nemocnicích znát mnoho z relativně nového oboru, jakým je paliativní péče a péče o pacienta na konci života, aby mohly pacientovi a jeho rodině poskytnout profesionální péči. Currently, the yearly death rate reaches 70 000 inhabitans in the Czech republic. About 80% of these people wants to die in their homes, but 79% of them still dies in hospitals.
