The Assessment of the Clients Needs in the Mobile Low-threshold Facility

Abstract:

Práce se zaměřuje na zkoumání způsobu posuzování potřeb klientů pracovníky mobilního NZDM, jež působí ve vyloučených lokalitách. V úvodní teoretické části jsou vysvětleny základní pojmy posouzení, potřeb a nízkoprahových klubů pro děti a mládež. Metodická část osvětluje metodu, jakou byl výzkum realizován. Výzkum cílí na rozpoznání metody a pojetí posouzení se strany pracovníků, soustředí se na zkoumání posuzování v praxi. Nevynechává ani zkoumání vnímají posuzování od samotných pracovníků. Samotnému výzkumu posouzení klientů předchází předvýzkum, který mapuje představy pracovníků i klientů o potřebách klientů. Interpretace dat předkládá informace zjištěné rozhovory, pozorováním a triangulací dat, jejichž výsledkem je snaha o porozumění různých způsobům posuzování klientů pracovníky. V závěru odpovídá výzkumník na hlavní výzkumnou otázku a navrhuje další směr bádání v procesech interakce mezi pracovníky a klienty v nízkoprahových sociálních službách

Abstract:

This thesis is focused on the research of the assessment of clients’ needs by workers in a mobile low-threshold facility for children and youths that operates in socially excluded areas. The theoretical part explains the concepts used in the assessment of social work, needs and low-threshold facilities for children and youths. The methodological part explains the way in which the research was conducted. This research is aimed at detecting the methods and concepts of assessment by workers and focuses on examining the assessment in practice. The focus is also on the perception of the assessment from social worker’s perspective. The main research is focused on the assessment of client needs and was preceded by preliminary research, an analysis of the clients’ needs from the social worker’s and client’s point of view. The interpretation of data is obtained from interviews, observation, and the triangulation of data, which results in an understanding of the differences of assessment between the workers. As the culmination of the thesis the researcher responds to the main research question and suggests a direction for further research into the processes of interaction between workers and clients in low-threshold social services
