The usage of the infinitive form in Russian and Czech language

Abstract:

Cílem teoretické části naší diplomové práce s názvem Užití infinitivu v ruštině a češtině je popsat ruské a české konstrukce s infinitivem. Praktická část obsahuje nashromážděný materiál, který jsme vyexcerpovali z děl ruské umělecké literatury a jejich překladů do češtiny. Tento materiál jsme následně analyzovali a roztřídili do několika kategorií na základě syntaktické funkce, kterou ruská a česká spojení s infinitivem (a jejich ekvivalenty) ve větách plní.

Abstract:

The aim of the theoretical part of our dissertation The usage of the infinitive form in Russian and Czech language is to describe the Russian and Czech constructions with the infinitive form. The practical part contains the collected samples acquired from the Russian fiction literature and its Czech translation. These samples have been analyzed and classified into several categories based on the syntax function fulfilled in the sentences by the Russian and Czech phrases (and its equivalents).
