The impact of movies on criminal behavior of minors

Abstract:

V mé práci se zabývám negativním vlivem filmů žánru akční, horor, drama a thriller na děti a mládež ve věku 10ti až 18ti let. Popisuji jednotlivé fáze vývoje dětí a také jejich výchovu. Také popisuji metody výchovy dětí, které jsou důležité pro vytváření jejich hodnot a postojů. Dočtete se o vzniku filmu, o jeho vývoji v následujících letech a také o konkrétních příkladech problematických filmů. Další témou jsou specifika filmu jako výchovného prostředku oproti jiným sdělovacím prostředkům. Na závěr uvádím výsledky z výzkumů, týkající se aktivit dětí a mládeže ve volném čase a podobných dalších, týkající se sledovanosti filmů. Také se zde můžete dozvědět o názorech na negativitu vlivu filmů na děti a mládež, např. od známého filmového kritika Františka Fuka, nebo politika a hlavního herce filmu Máj Matěje Stropnického.

Abstract:

In my work I am dealing with the negative impact of an action film genre, including horror, thriller and drama, on children youth aged 10 to 18 years. It describes various stages of development of children and their upbringing as well as methods on education of children. Furthermore, my paper illustrates the emergence of film, its development in the coming years as well as specific examples of problematic films. Another issue is the specificities of film as an educational device compared to other media. This thesis is concluded with up to date results of research studies on children and youth activities in their free time as well as on film ratings. The views of negative effects of films on children and youth are supported, for example, by the famous film critic Frantisek Fuka, or reflected in the policy of Matthew Stropnicky, a leading actor of the film Maj.
