Abstract:
Předkládaná disertační práce prezentuje výsledky výzkumu zabývajícího se prostředky vyjadřujícími nejistotu a nepřesnost (hedges) v žánru odborných článků v anglickém jazyce. Jedná se o komparativní studii, jejímž cílem bylo zjistit, zda existují rozdíly v četnosti používání a funkcích těchto prostředků v odborných článcích z oboru aplikované lingvistiky a literární kritiky.
Abstract:
The dissertation presents the results of a comparative analysis of different functional types of hedging and their principal formal realizations in the applied linguistics and literary criticism research articles.
