UX and UI design of software tool for communication between thermographic camera and PC

Abstract:

Téma bakalářské práce je věnováno tvorbě designu aplikace, který se zaměřuje na UX a UI design. V teoretické části práce jsou vysvětleny základní pojmy, které jsou spojené s návrhem aplikací a porovnány různé přístupy tvorby designu. Dále je popsán proces designu s důrazem na uživatele a využití termokamery při výuce. V praktické části byl použit polostrukturovaný dotazník, který byl klíčový pro získání potřebných informací k tvorbě designu. Na základě informací z dotazníku, požadavků zadavatele a výsledků výzkumu aktuálního řešení byly stanoveny požadavky na nový design aplikace. Nový design byl vytvořen v třech krocích - low fidelity prototyp, high fidelity prototyp a implementace. V poslední kapitole se autor podrobně věnuje popisu nového designu a vysvětluje jednotlivé prvky, které byly použity.

Abstract:

The topic of the bachelor thesis is dedicated to the creation of an application design that focuses on UX and UI design. The theoretical part of the thesis explains the basic concepts that are associated with application design and compares different approaches to design development. Furthermore, the design process is described with an emphasis on the user and the use of thermal imaging school lessons. In the practical part, a semi-structured questionnaire was used to obtain the necessary information for the design process. Based on the information from the questionnaire, the requirements of the client and the research results of the current solution, the requirements for the new application design were determined. The new design was created in three steps - low fidelity prototype, high fidelity prototype and implementation. In the last chapter the author describes the new design in detail and explains the different elements that were used.
