Tato práce si klade za cíl shrnout a porovnat postoje, které zaujímaly Německo a Francie v 90. letech vůči politice Severoatlantické aliance. Práce nejdříve představí základní politické a bezpečnostní otázky, kterými se zabývalo NATO ve zkoumaném období, a to problematiku změn strategických koncepcí v letech 1991 a 1999, rozšiřování NATO a alianční mise v Turecku, Bosně a Hercegovině a Kosovu. Abstract:
The aim of this thesis is to summarize and compare approaches of Germany and France towards NATO policies of the 1990s. The thesis will explain fundamental political and security issues that NATO focused on during the selected period, which were issues with strategic concept changes in 1991 and 1999, NATO enlargement and NATO’s operation in Turkey, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Kosovo.
