Tato práce pojednává o skořápkových plodech všeobecně známých spíše pod pojmem ořechy. V teoretické části se zabývám jednotlivými druhy skořápkových plodů. Dále je věnována pozornost jejich nutričně hodnotnému složení a u každého ořechu zvlášť vypsána specifika. Důležitý je také jejich vliv na zdraví člověka a jejich zastoupení v jídelníčku. This thesis deals with tree nuts and peanuts generally known under the term nuts. First part of this thesis describe individual types of nuts. Furthur the attention is pionted to their nutritionally valuable composition and there are written individual specifics for each nuts.
