Optotypes - history, present and the use in practice of optometrist

Abstract:

Svoji práci jsem rozdělila do několika hlavních kapitol, ke kterým jsem přiřadila tématicky navazující podkapitoly.Úvod práce nás seznamuje s tím, co to vůbec optotyp je a k čemu se primárně používá. Vysvětluje i pojem zraková ostrost, jak ji můžeme zapsat a její rozdělení. Druhá část se týká dávné historie, se kterou se pojí významné osobnosti a jména. To, jak se standardizované tabule dělí z hlediska použitého znaku je uvedeno v další hlavní kapitole. Na to navazuje rozdělení optotypů z hlediska vyšetřovací vzdálenosti a konstrukčního provedení. Rozdělení optotypů dle odstupňování jednotlivých řádků je popsáno v následující části. A závěr je doplněn o postup subjektivního vyšetření, o pomůcky k tomu potřebné a popis problematiky jednotlivých refrakčních vad.

Abstract:

My bachelor thesis is divided into large main chapters. These main chapters are divided into subchapters following the subject matter of the main chapter. The very begining serves as an introduction for potentional readers. The term optotype and its use is presented in this section of this work. Further it explains the topic of the visual acuity, how we can divided it and how this acuity is written down. The second main part of my bachelor thesis is a digest of the most famous personalities in the hisory in the field of the optics. Sorting of the standardized eye chart is mentioned in the next chapter. Then follows a division of the optotypes according to their construction and examination distance. Optotypes are also sorted by their gradation of particular lines. This is followed by the distribution of the optotypes in terms of investigative distance and design. The division of the optotypes according to the graduation of individual lines is described in the following section. And the conclusion is supplemented by a procedure of subjective examination, aids to do so and a description of the problems of individual refractive errors.
