Positive and negative institutionalized custodies for children between 2 and 6 years of age

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá otázkou ideálního věku nástupu dětí do institucionalizované péče. Pojednává o vhodnosti nástupu u dítěte ve věku 3 let a u dítěte ve věku 2 let. Cílem této práce je ověřit prospěšnost dřívějšího nebo pozdějšího nástupu dítěte do předškolní instituce. V této práci se snažím zdůraznit důležitost rodičovské výchovy v prvních letech života dítěte. Tvoří ji dvě hlavní části. Teoretická část se věnuje charakteristice vývoje dítěte v batolecím a předškolním období. Seznamuje s názorem psychologů na problematiku vstupu dítěte do institucionalizované péče a představuje výzkum této problematiky (nebo "s jejím výzkumem") v České republice a ve světě. Zabývá se i problematikou separace dítěte od matky. Seznamuje čtenáře s asociací Comeniana, která svým zaměřením a názory na výchovu navazuje na hlavní myšlenky Jana Amose Komenského. V praktické části vyhodnocuji dotazníkové šetření, které bylo zaměřeno na nástup dětí do mateřské školy, rozhovory s dětskými psychology a případové studie pěti dětí navštěvující mateřskou školu. Tato práce reaguje i na aktuální legislativní změny, které budou platné od září roku 2017

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of the ideal age of children's joining to an institutionalized care. It discusses the suitability of a child at the age of 3 and a child 2 years old. The aim of this work is to verify the usefulness of earlier or later joining of the child in the pre-school institution. In this work I try to emphasize the importance of parenting in the first years of child's life. It consists of two main parts. The theoretical part is focused on characteristics of the child's development in the nursing and pre-school period. It introduces the viewpoint of psychologists on the issue of the child's entry into institutionalized care and presents research on this issue (or "with its research") in the Czech Republic and the world. It deals with the issue of separation of the child from the mother. It informs the reader of the Comenius Association, which focuses on the main ideas of Jan Amos Comenius. In the practical part, I evaluate the questionnaire survey, which was focused on the arrival of children in kindergarten, interviews with child psychologists and case studies of five children attending kindergarten. This work also responds to current legislative changes that will be valid since September 2017
