SMC5/6 komplex je vysoce konzervovaný proteinový komplex, který patří do rodiny SMC proteinovych komplexů. SMC komplexy jsou klíčové faktory při udržování stability chromatinu. SMC5/6 komplex je zapojen do mnoha buněčných procesů, jako je stabilizace zastavených replikačních vidlic a opravy poškození DNA. Abstract:
SMC5/6 complex is a highly conserved protein complex that belongs to the protein family of the SMC complexes, which are the key factors of the chromatin structural maintenance. The SMC5/6 complex is involved in many actions such as stabilization of stalled replication forks and DNA damage repair.
