Vliv dotací na konkurenceschopnost podniku

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na problematiku využívání dotací z operačního programu Podnikání a inovace pro konkurenceschopnost (zkráceně OPPIK). Hlavním cílem práce bylo vyhodnocení vlivů dotačního programu na konkurenceschopnost firem v odvětví zpracovatelského průmyslu v České republice. Data k aplikační části byla čerpána z databáze Albertina a z veřejně přístupného zdroje (např. www.justice.cz). Byla vytvořena sledovaná a kontrolní skupina, u které byly zjišťovány hodnoty poměrových ukazatelů. Následně bylo využito statistických metod k ověření hypotéz. Nejprve byl aplikován Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, který zjistil, že naměřené hodnoty nemají normální rozdělení. Ke zjištění rozdílů mezi skupinami byl posléze využit Mann-Whitney test. Z výsledků práce vyplynulo, že dotace nemají v krátkodobém horizontu na výkonnost podniku statisticky významný vliv. Nebyla prokázána větší konkurenceschopnost sledované skupiny oproti skupině kontrolní ani rozdíl ve výkonnosti podniků před a po obdržení dotace.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis is focused on the issue of using subsidies from the Operational Programme Enterprise and Innovations for Competitiveness (OPEIC). The main goal of the work was to evaluate the effects of the subsidy program on the competitiveness of companies in the Czech Republic manufacturing industry. The data for the application part were drawn from the Albertina database and from the publicly accessible sources (e.g. www.justice.cz). Monitoring and control group was created, in which were determined the values of ratios. Subsequently, statistical methods were used to verify the hypotheses. First, the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test was applied, which found that the measured values do not have a normal distribution. The Mann-Whitney test was then used to find out the differences between the groups. The results of the thesis showed that subsidies do not have a statistically significant effect on the company's performance in the short term. There was no evidence of greater competitiveness of the monitored group compared to the control group or a difference in the performance of companies before and after receiving the subsidy.
