Analysis of Cooperation between Public Research Infrastructure and Business Entities in the South Moravian Region

Abstract:

Předkládaná bakalářská práce se věnuje zkoumání spolupráce mezi veřejnou výzkumnou infrastrukturou a podnikatelskými subjekty. Teoretická část práce je zaměřena na charakteristiku tématu transferu výsledků výzkumu a inovací z veřejných výzkumných infrastruktur směrem do praxe, popisuje formy spolupráce veřejných výzkumných infrastruktur s komerčním sektorem, bariéry v této oblasti a možnosti jejich zmírnění, zasazuje téma transferu výsledků výzkumu a inovací do kontextu Evropské unie či popisuje možnosti transferu výsledků výzkumu a inovací v České republice. Praktická část práce si klade za cíl zmapovat spolupráce mezi veřejnými výzkumnými infrastrukturami a podnikatelskými subjekty v Jihomoravském kraji v letech 2005-2020, analyzuje zmapované spolupráce z hlediska jejich formy, rozsahu, odvětvového zaměření či regionální lokalizace. Závěrečná část práce se zabývá SWOT analýzou zmapovaných spoluprací a formuluje doporučení k udržení a podpoře spoluprací mezi veřejnými výzkumnými infrastrukturami a podnikatelskými subjekty na území Jihomoravského kraje.

Abstract:

The presented bachelor thesis is devoted to the study of cooperation between public research infrastructure and business entities. The theoretical part is focused on the characteristics of the transfer of research and innovation results from public research infrastructures to practice, describes the forms of cooperation of public research infrastructures with the commercial sector, barriers in this area and mitigation options. The thesis also places the topic of transfer of research and innovation results into the context of the European Union or describes the possibilities of transfer of research and innovation results in the Czech Republic. The practical part of the thesis aims to map the cooperation between public research infrastructures and business entities in the South Moravian Region in the years 2005-2020, analyzes the mapped collaborations in terms of their form, scope, sectoral focus or regional location. The final part of the thesis deals with SWOT analysis of mapped collaborations and formulates recommendations for maintaining and supporting the collaborations between public research infrastructures and business entities in the South Moravian Region.
