Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na evropské populace rysů ve volné přírodě a jejich záchranné programy, které sehrály a stále sehrávají klíčovou roli pro obnovu a stabilizaci jejich populací. Jedná se o rešeršní práci, která uceluje informace o jednotlivých populací rysů v různých částech Evropy. Zmiňuje jejich historický vývoj, stav ochrany a situaci v posledních několika letech. Záchranné programy jsou rozděleny dle geografického určení a je popsán jejich průběh, kdo daný program financoval a jaké byly či jsou očekávané výsledky. V minulosti prošla početnost populace rysů drastickým poklesem. Pozitivních výsledků bylo dosaženo až po několika letech usilovné ochranářské práce, mezi které se záchranné programy jednoznačně řadí. Tato literární rešerše přispěje k lepšímu pochopení problematiky populace rysů ve volné přírodě a důležitost záchranných programů v ochraně ohrožených druhů.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis focuses on European lynx populations in the wild and their rescue programmes, which have been and still are important in the recovery and stabilisation of their populations. It is a research work that integrates available information from the literature on individual lynx populations in different parts of Europe. It mentions their historical development, conservation status and situation in the last few years. The rescue programmes are divided according to geographical destination and their course, who financed the programme and what the expected results were or are. In the past, the lynx population has undergone a drastic decline. Positive results were achieved only after several years of hard conservation work, which clearly includes rescue programmes. This literature search will contribute to a better understanding of the issue of lynx populations in the wild and the importance of rescue programmes in the conservation of endangered species.
