Identification of development factors of the micro-brewing sector in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou faktorů rozvoje mikropivovarského sektoru v České republice. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretickou část tvoří literární rešerše, která byla vypracována na základě poznatků z české a zahraniční odborné literatury. Cílem praktické části bylo zjistit, jaká je současná situace v odvětví pivovarnictví a jak se vyvíjelo mikropivovarnictví v České republice a Evropě. Dále byly identifikovány faktory rozvoje tohoto odvětví. Vyhodnocení probíhalo na základě analýzy sekundárních dat a pomocí vybraných ukazatelů finanční analýzy za roky 2013–2017. U každé skupiny minipivovarů byly analyzovány jejich nedostatky. V závěru jsou tedy formulovány konkrétní kroky, které zabrání negativním dopadům na finanční zdraví minipivovarů.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of factors of the development of the microbrewery sector in the Czech Republic. The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part consists of literary research, which was developed on the basis of knowledge from Czech and foreign professional literature. The aim of the practical part was to find out what is the current situation in the brewing industry and how micro-brewing has developed in the Czech Republic and Europe. Furthermore, the development factors in this sector were identified. The evaluation was based on the analysis of secondary data and using selected indicators of financial analysis. For each group of micro-breweries, their shortcomings were analyzed. In the end, therefore, specific ones are formulated.
