Předkládaná diplomová práce popisuje modlitbu u tří velkých karmelských světic. První část práce se zabývá modlitbou. Definuje ji a popisuje způsoby a druhy modlitby. Na příkladech osobnosti Písma svatého ukazuje, jaká byla jejich modlitební praxe. A dále se dovídáme o vzniku karmelského řádu a o jeho spiritualitě. Abstract:
The thesis submitted describes prayer at three great Carmelite saints. The first part deals with prayer. It defines it and describes various ways and kinds of prayer. Using examples of the personalities from the Holy Writ it shows their prayer practice. We also learn about the origins of the Carmelite order and its spirituality.
