Jesuit influence in Uherske Hradiste in the 17th century
Abstract:
Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá působením řádu Tovaryšstva Ježíšova v Uherském Hradišti v průběhu 17. století. V první části je stručně nastíněna dobová situace města a zřízení jezuitské koleje. Další část popisuje stavbu kolejních budov, náboženské a kulturní působení řádu ve městě a jeho spory s městskou radou.
Abstract:
This bachelor thesis deals with activity of the Society of Jesus and Jesuit College in Uherské Hradiště during the 17th century. The first part briefly outlines the contemporary situation of the city and the establishment of a Jesuit college. Next part describes the construction of college buildings, religious and cultural influence in the order, and his disputes with the city council.
