Financial analysis of Czech company reporting in accordance with IFRS

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá finanční analýzou a problematikou účetního vykazování dle IFRS. V teoretické části je popsána finanční analýza z obecného hlediska, jsou definovány zdroje informací a vybrané metody finanční analýzy. Dále je pozornost věnována IFRS, koncepčnímu rámci, základním pravidlům účetního výkaznictví dle IFRS a rozdílům ve vybraných oblastech dle české účetní legislativy a dle IFRS. V praktické části jsou využity vybrané metody finanční analýzy na konkrétní podnik MyMedia s.r.o. a jsou popsány rozdíly mezi výkaznictvím dle IFRS a dle české účetní legislativy. Diplomová práce analyzuje období mezi roky 2011 až 2015 a snaží se v tomto období vystihnout specifika finanční analýzy a konkrétní rozdíly v účetním výkaznictví dle české účetní legislativy a dle IFRS.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the issue of financial analysis and financial reporting in accordance with IFRS. In the theoretical part is described financial analysis in general terms, information sources are defined as well as selected financial analysis methods. Attention is also paid to the IFRS conceptual framework, the basic rules of financial reporting under IFRS and differences in selected areas according to Czech accounting legislation and IFRS. In the practical part are used selected methods of financial analysis on a particular company - MyMedia Ltd. and explains the differences between reporting under IFRS and under Czech accounting legislation. The thesis analyzes the period between 2011 to 2015 and seeks in this period to describe the specifics of financial analysis and specific differences in financial reporting according to Czech accounting legislation and IFRS.
