Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na potvrzení souvislosti mezi prahem sluchu a kognitivními poruchami formou shrnutí dosavadních poznatků dostupných na vědeckých databázích. Zkoumá především poruchy sluchu v kombinaci s Alzheimerovou chorobou, mírnou kognitivní poruchou a demencí. Teoretická část se zabývá poruchami sluchu včetně rizikových faktorů a zároveň také poruchami kognice. Práce popisuje také prevalenci, diagnostiku a možnosti léčby duševních onemocnění. Praktická část je psána formou rešerše literatury. Tato práce potvrzuje souvislost mezi prahem sluchu a kognicí. V převážné většině studií došlo k potvrzení tohoto vztahu, i přesto, že určité publikace zcela neobjasnily mechanismy vzniku této spojitosti.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is focused on confirming the connection between the hearing threshold and cognitive disorders in the form of a summary of existing knowledge available on scientific databases. It mainly examines hearing disorders in combination with Alzheimer's disease, mild cognitive impairment and dementia. The theoretical part deals with hearing disorders, including risk factors, as well as cognition disorders. The work also describes the prevalence, diagnosis and treatment options for mental illness. The practical part is written in the form of literature search. This work confirms the connection between the hearing threshold and cognition. The vast majority of studies have confirmed this relationship, even though certain publications have not fully elucidated the mechanisms of this connection.
