Abstract:

Absolventská práce se zaměřuje na život dětí s epilepsií, které prošly epileptochirurgickým programem a podstoupily operační zákrok. Práce vyhodnocuje jejich život několik let poté. Srovnává jejich život po stránce zdravotní i sociální s jejich vrstevníky, kteří netrpí žádnou vážnou nemocí. Práce ukazuje, že většina dětí po chirurgickém výkonu žije život srovnatelný se zdravými dětmi.

Abstract:

The thesis focuses on the lives of children with epilepsy who have undergone an epilepsy surgery program and had an operation. It evaluates their lives several years later. It compares their lives in terms of health and social aspects with their peers who do not suffer from any serious illness. The work shows that most children live a life comparable to healthy children after surgery.
