Representation of moral facts in the selected works of art of the 20th century: case Gaut
Abstract:
Cílem práce je představit estetickou doktrínu eticismu Beryse Gauta a jeho možnou explikační sílu na pěti vybraných uměleckých dílech dvacátého století. První část práce se soustředí na obecný rozbor eticismu jako estetické teorie, jeho silné i slabé stránky. Druhá část práce sestává z nahlédnutí pěti děl prizmatem eticismu.
Abstract:
The aim of this thesis is to intorduce aesthetical doctrine of ethicism by Berys Gaut and to demonstrate its explanatory ability at five selected today‘s works of art. The first part is focused on the analysis of ethicism as an aesthetic theory, its strengths and weaknesses. The second part is a case study of Gaut’s ethicism at the five examples.
