Cílem práce je přiblížit čtenáři oblast životního pojištění se zaměřením na metodiku výpočtu pojistných sazeb. Práce je zaměřena na poskytnutí základních informací v teoretické oblasti výpočtu pojistného, údajů a matematicko-statistických nástrojů, které se k výpočtu používají.
