Abstract:

V této teoreticko-praktické bakalářské práci s názvem Malba ornamentu (inspirace bulharskou keramikou) se v teoretické části zabývám definicí a vývojem ornamentu od pravěku po současnost. Zmiňuji několik historických milníků, ve kterých se objevuje ornament jako prostředek reflektující kulturu daného období. Analyzuji postavení ornamentu v užitém umění, výtvarné kultuře a společnosti. Zaměřuji se speciálně na ornament bulharské keramiky, jelikož je hlavní inspirací mé praktické práce. Popisuji jeho vývoj na území Bulharska, obzvlášť v regionu Trojan, odkud tato tradičně zdobená keramika pochází. V praktické části píšu o inspiraci, která ovlivňuje mou tvorbu a o procesu mé práce. Závěrečné dílo se skládá celkem ze čtrnácti stylizovaných očí (sedm maleb a sedm tisků) - přesněji jen jejich duhovek, které jsou doprovázeny rytmickými ornamenty.

Abstract:

In this theoretical and practical bachelor thesis entitled Painting of an Ornament (Inspiration from Bulgarian Ceramics), the theoretical part deals with the definition and development of an ornament from prehistoric times to the present. I mention several historical milestones in which the ornament appears as a medium reflecting the culture of the period. I analyze the position of the ornament in applied art, visual culture and society. I focus specifically on the ornament of Bulgarian ceramics as it is the main inspiration for my practical work. I describe its development on the territory of Bulgaria, especially in the region of Troyan, where this traditionally decorated pottery originates. In the practical part I write about the inspiration that influences my creation and the process of my work. The final artwork consists of a total of fourteen stylized eyes (seven paintings and seven prints) - more precisely just their irises which are accompanied by rhythmic ornaments.
