The influence of single pressure on position and shape of spine during paddling

Abstract:

Téma fyzického zatížení v souvislosti s výskytem funkčních poruch pohybového aparátu je v dnešní době stále aktuální. Cílem výzkumné práce je zjistit vliv jednostranné zátěže při vodní turistice na polohu a zakřivení páteře u vyšetřovaných probandů a následně prokázat pozitivní vliv speciální cvičební jednotky zamezující vznik poruch postavení páteře při pádlování během vodáckého kurzu. Vodní turistika se vyznačuje největší rozdílností nároků na tělesnou námahu při pádlování, přičemž se mohou vyskytovat různá kontraindikační působení, která mohou způsobit deformity páteře. Cílená sestava kompenzačních cviků, při pravidelném a správném cvičení, může vést k odstranění příčin deformit jednotlivých oblastí páteře způsobené případnou jednostrannou zátěží při pádlování. U 67 jedinců jsme provedli vyšetření tvaru a polohy páteře pomocí diagnostického systému DTP-2, kdy jsme hodnotili laterální odchylku páteře od 0 vertikální osy, velikost hrudní kyfózy, bederní lordózy, dále velikost skoliotického zakřivení hrudní páteře a vzájemnou polohu akromionů a pánevních spin. Základní soubor byl rozdělen na dvě homogenní skupiny (experimentální a kontrolní), které absolvovaly identickou kanoistickou zátěž. Experimentální skupina byla navíc vystavena během kurzu speciálnímu kompenzačnímu cvičení. Z výsledků práce můžeme tvrdit, že intervence v podobě pádlování nevedla ke značnému zhoršení tvaru a polohy páteře. Jediným parametrem, u kterého jsme po absolvování vodáckého zájezdu zjistili zhoršené (zvětšené) hodnoty je velikost bederní lordózy (významnější u kontrolní skupiny, u které nebyla indikována speciální cvičební jednotka). Při hodnocení velikosti úhlu hrudní kyfózy a laterálního – skoliotického zakřivení hrudní páteře jsme se při druhém pozátěžovém vyšetření setkali se statisticky významným zlepšením jejich počátečních stavů. Při srovnání výsledků jednotlivých skupin jsme zjistili statistickou významnost pouze u předo-zadního zakřivení páteře. Speciální cvičení zamezilo nadměrnému narovnání páteře v oblasti hrudní kyfózy a zvětšení bederní lordózy probandů experimentální skupiny. U ostatních měřených parametrů jsme statistickou významnost kompenzačního cvičení nepotvrdili. Přesto však tato kompenzační cvičení můžeme doporučit ostatním jedincům, kteří se tomuto sportu věnují.

Abstract:

The theme of physical stress in context of functional interferences occurrence of kinetic system is in this time still actually. The goal of the study is to find out the influence of one-sided load on the position and spinal curvature in the examined probands and consequently to show the positive influence of the special exercise unit preventing the occurance of deformities of the spine when paddling at wild-water course. Canoeing is known for its notably different claims which are laid on body physique when paddling and whereas there can be contra indicatory activities which can cause the deformities of the spine. The aimed set of compensatory exercises, when practised regularly and correctly, can lead to the elimination of causes of these deformities of individual regions of the spine caused by one-sided load when paddling. With a group of 67 individuals we have carried out the examination of the shape and position of the spine with the help of diagnostic system DTP-2. The basic set has been divided into two homogenous groups (experimental and control) which went through the identical canoeing load. The experimental group was exposed to further special compensatory exercise during the wild-water course. Based on the results we can claim that the intervention in the form of paddling did not lead to any significant deterioration of spinal shape and position. After completing the watercourse the deteriorated (increased) values were only found in the size of lumbar lordosis (more significant value was found in the testing group which did not go through any special exercise unit). When evaluating the size of the angle of thoracic kyphosis and lateral – scoliotical spinal curvature we have seen a significant improvement of the initial states after the second load examination. When comparing the results of individual groups we have discovered statistically significant values only in frontal-hind spinal curvature. Special exercises prevented full spinal straightening in the region of thoracic kyphosis and increasing of lumbar lordosis of the individuals in the experimental group. For other parameters (the deviation of the spine in the frontal plane taken from zero vertical axis, scoliotic curvature of thoracic spine and the position of acromioms with respect to hind upper pelvic spins) this compensation exercise in the experimental group has lead to the significant improvement of the initial values as opposed to the control group; however, no statistical significance has been proved. Nevertheless, we can recommend these compensation exercises to other individuals who are interested in this sport.
