Práce shrnuje dosavadní výzkum v oblasti mezijazyčného převodu vizuálních verbálních prvků, vymezuje terminologii a definice v rámci sémiotiky překladu audiovizuální tvorby, využití informačních kanálů a multimodality sémiotických kódů audiovizuálních děl.
