Anotácia:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá současným stavem čtení papírových knih vs. využíváním elektronických médií. Tato práce se skládá jak z teoretické, tak z praktické části. Teoretická část zkoumá historii čtení a psaní, stejně jako vývoj elektronických médií, a pojednává o různých typech čtení a textů. Zjišťuje také dostupnost papírových i elektronických knih a jejich výhody a nevýhody, zmiňujíce zároveň důvody, proč lidé čtou papírové knihy méně. Praktická část zahrnuje vlastní výzkum autorky zjišťující vztah současných dětí ke knihám, elektronickým médiím a čtení.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis deals with the current status of reading paper books vs. the usage of electronic media. The thesis consists of both theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part examines the history of reading and writing as well as the development of electronic media and it discusses different types of reading and texts. It also surveys the availability of both paper and electronic books and their advantages and disadvantages, mentioning the reasons why people read paper books less. The practical part includes the author’s own research regarding the relationship of today’s children to books, electronic media and reading.
