In the footsteps of Prague's house signs
Abstract:
Práce se komplexně zabývá problematikou pražských domovních znamení od jejich prvopočátků až po XX. století. V teoretické části zkoumá jejich historii a funkci, praktická část je koncipována jako průvodce po pražských domovních znameních pro nejrůznější klientelu. Práce je doplněna o nejaktuálnější vlastní fotodokumentaci.
Abstract:
The work „In the footsteps of Prague house signs“ concerns everything connected with the history and use of those distinquishing characters from their very beginnings to the 20th century. A practical part of this work is based on thematic historical walks through Prague for different sorts of visitors. The work is enriched with up-to-date pictures.
