Abstract:
Tato Bakalářská práce se zabývá situací Irska během první světové války. Hlavním cílem je zjistit a porovnat jak Nacionalistické a Unionistické proudy ovlivnily situaci Irska během zmíněné války. Témata která jsou zkoumána jsou Home Rule Bill, verbování do armády, Velikonoční povstání v roce 1916 a situace v Irsku na konci války.
Abstract:
This bachelor thesis deals with the situation of Ireland during the 1st World War. The main aim is to find out and compare how the Nationalistic and Unionistic streams influenced Ireland's situation during the war mentioned. The topics that are surveyed are the Home Rule Bill, conscription to the army, the Eastern Rising in 1916 and the situation in Ireland at the war's end.
