Motivational learning strategies for children in institutional and family education

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se věnuje motivačním strategiím k učení u dětí ve věku 15-18 let v ústavní a rodinné výchově. Cílem práce je komparace motivačních strategií k učení u vybrané skupiny respondentů. V teoretické části jsou zpracována témata reflektující zejména otázky týkající se motivace a motivačních strategií k učení a problematiky ústavní a rodinné výchovy. Praktickou část tvoří výsledky modifikovaného standardizovaného dotazníku MSLQ - The Motivated Strategies for Learning Questionnaire (Pintrich a kol., 1993). Cílem je zjistit a porovnat rozdíly v motivačních strategiích k učení u dětí ve věku 15-18 let v ústavní a rodinné výchově. Součástí práce jsou konkrétní závěry a doporučení využitelná v praxi speciální pedagogiky - intervence a dalších disciplín tzv. pomáhajících profesí. Samotného výzkumného šetření v empirické části se zúčastnilo celkem 80 respondentů ve věku 15-18 let. Polovina dotazovaných pocházela z rodinné výchovy, druhou tvořili děti nacházející se v rámci nařízené ústavní výchovy ve školských zařízeních.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with motivational strategies for learning in children aged 15-18 in institutional and family education. The aim of the work is to compare motivational strategies for learning in a selected group of respondents. The theoretical part deals with topics reflecting particular issues related to motivation and motivational strategies for learning and issues of institutional and family education. The pratical part consists of the results of the modified standardized questionnaire MSLQ - The Motivated Strategies for Learning Questionnaire (Pintrich et al., 1993). The goal is to identify and compare differences in motivational strategies for learning for children aged 15-18 in institutional and family education. The thesis also includes concrete conclusions and recommendations for special education - interventions and other disciplines of so-called helping professions. A total of 80 respondents aged 15-18 took part in the research investigation itself in the empirical part. Half of the interviewees came from family education, while the other half consisted of children in institutional education in school facilities.
