Offer of pension insurance in selected insurance companies

Abstract:

The bachelor’s thesis presents the subject of pension insurance in the conditions of the Slovak Republic. It is focused on the selected insurance companies and their products, which are connected with this kind of insurance. The first chapter describes the overall situation of the pension welfare before and after the reform in the year of 2004, focuses on the insurance companies and their main functions. There is also some information about the pension welfare in selected European countries. The second chapter analyses the pension system on the examples of the existing pension houses. The details are connected with the analysis of the pension and supplementary pension management companies. In the third chapter it focuses on the object and the main purposes of the survey, and the obtained material and presentation of results as well. As a part of this chapter are also proposals and recommendations to improve the current situation of the pension system in the Slovak Republic.

Abstract:

Bakalárska práca prezentuje problematiku dôchodkového poistenia v podmienkach Slovenskej Republiky. Bližšie sa zameriava na komerčné poisťovne a produkty, ktoré sú späté s týmto druhom poistenia. Prvá kapitola približuje teoretické východiská hmotného zabezpečenia v starobe. Jedná sa o celkový pohľad na dôchodkový systém pred reformou a po reforme v roku 2004, opisuje komerčné poisťovne a ich úlohy. Súčasťou tejto kapitoly je aj popis dôchodkových systémov vo vybraných krajinách Európy. Druhá kapitola analyzuje dôchodkový systém na príklade existujúcich poistných domov. Špecifikovali sme dôchodkové správcovské spoločnosti a doplnkové dôchodcovské spoločnosti. V tretej kapitole sú popísané predmet a ciele prieskumu, ako aj spracovanie získaného materiálu a prezentácia výsledkov. Súčasťou tejto kapitoly sú aj návrhy a odporúčania na zlepšenie momentálnej situácie dôchodkového systému v podmienkach Slovenskej Republiky.
