My thesis is focused on the literary and historical confrontations related to the work of Josef Ciger Hronsky, Slovak writer who lived in the years 1896 - 1960. I tried to approach this period from the historiographical and literary critics´ points of view. The life of J. C. Magisterská diplomová práce je zaměřena na literárněhistorické konfrontace díla Jozefa Cígera Hronského. Slovenský spisovatel žil v letech 1896 – 1960 a toto období přibližuji z hlediska historiografického a literárně kritického. Život J. C.
